Pickguard Assembly
I have installed the 500K potentionmeter and the 3-way switch.
A closeup of the 3-way switch and the 500K pot.
The top of the pickguard with the pot and the switch installed. I chose a barrelknob for this guitar.
Here you can see what difference it makes when you scratch off some of the chrome coating on the pot.
All the wiring for the switch is done. Now I just have to wait for the pickups.
The pickups have arrived! This is the Seymour Duncan SH-5 that goes in the bridge position.
This is the Seymour Duncan SH-2 "Jazz". This one goes in the neck! I think I'll put in an DPDT swith to split this baby!
Wiring is done. Looks messy, but it's not.
WHAT WOULD MACGYVER DO!??!!! While I wait for the pickup mounting screws to arrive, Duckttape does the job with holding the pickups in place.
This is what it looks like. I want to put in two DPDT switches on the bottom of the pickguard so that I can split the humbuckers.
