Dave Murray Stratocaster.

As you may have read in the "about me" section, one of my greatest influences is Dave Murray, guitarist of Iron Maiden. I really admire this guitarist, and have always wanted to buy a Fender Strat and modify it. That was before I heard about Warmoth.

For this project I am planning to buy a vintage white strat body with a maple neck and a non recessed floyd rose. A white pearl pickguard with three Seymour Duncan minihumbuckers. I'm going to use Hot Rails in neck and middle possition, and a JB.jr. in bridge possition.

  • Body: Alder
  • Neck: Maple Boatneck
  • Nut: Floyd Rose lockingnut
  • Frets: 6105ss
  • Scale Length: 25.5"
  • Hardware: Chrome
  • Machine Heads: Vintage tuners
  • Bridge: Non Recessed Floyd rose
  • Pickguard: 3-Ply Pearloid
  • Pickups: Seymour Duncan Hot Rails and JB.jr
  • Pickup Switching: 5-Position Blade
  • Controls: V-T-T

Here is some pictures of Dave's guitar.

In my opinion, the combination of Vintage White and the pearloid pickguard kicks ass!

This is not the same guitar as above. It does not have the pearloid pickguard, but it still looks very nice!

Best Regards
